The terms on which you may use our website and take part in Brixton Topcats activities.
These terms and conditions explain the basis on which you may use the Brixton Topcats website and take part in our activities. Please read them carefully. By using this website or taking part in our sessions, teams, camps or events, you agree to these terms.
This website is operated by South London Topcats CIC (“Brixton Topcats”, “we”, “our”, “us”), a Community Interest Company registered in England and Wales (CIC Reg no. 11925831), registered office: International House, 3space, 6th Floor, Canterbury Crescent, Brixton, London SW9 7QD.
These terms apply to your use of brixtontopcats.org (the “website”) and to participation in club activities organised by South London Topcats CIC. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website. Separate terms may apply to membership registration handled through our registration provider and to any donation you make.
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not use it in any way that breaches applicable law, is fraudulent, or is harmful, or to gain unauthorised access to the website, the server on which it is stored, or any connected server, computer or database. We may suspend or withdraw the website, or restrict its availability, at any time and without notice.
Unless stated otherwise, the content of this website (including text, graphics, logos, the Brixton Topcats name and marks, images and page layout) is owned by or licensed to South London Topcats CIC and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use, but you must not reproduce, distribute, modify or exploit any content without our prior written permission.
Player registration and membership are administered through our registration provider (Coacha). Registration is subject to the information and any additional terms provided during the registration process, including consents relating to medical information, emergency contacts and safeguarding. Participation in sessions, teams, camps and events is subject to our codes of conduct and to the reasonable instructions of our coaches and staff. We may decline or end participation where conduct puts the safety or welfare of others at risk.
Fees for sessions, membership, camps and events are as published at the time of booking or as advised to you directly. Current fees are published at registration through Coacha and may change from season to season. Payments made through third-party providers (for example our registration or payment platforms) are also subject to those providers' own terms. Unless required by law or stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable once a session or programme has begun.
We may take photographs and video at our sessions, teams, camps and events for club records and promotion, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Safeguarding Policy. Where consent is required, we will seek it. If you do not wish you or your child to be photographed or filmed, please tell a member of staff and contact us at admin@brixtontopcats.org.
This website may contain links to third-party websites and services, including our registration provider and any donation platform. Those sites are not under our control and we are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Links are provided for your convenience and do not imply that we endorse the linked site.
The website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we take reasonable care to keep the information on it accurate and up to date, we make no representations or warranties, express or implied, that the website or its content is accurate, complete or error-free, or that the website will be uninterrupted or secure. Fixture dates, times and venues in particular may change; please check with the club before travelling.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law. Subject to that, we will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website, or from reliance on any content on it. Participation in sport carries inherent risks; participation in club activities is subject to any separate participation terms and consents provided at registration.
The safety and welfare of children and adults at risk is our first priority. Our approach is set out in our Safeguarding Policy, which forms part of these terms for anyone taking part in club activities.
We may update these terms from time to time by posting the revised version on this page. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
These terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
If you have any questions about these terms, please email admin@brixtontopcats.org or write to South London Topcats CIC, International House, 3space, 6th Floor, Canterbury Crescent, Brixton, London SW9 7QD.
