The Brixton Topcats U13 team have officially been crowned champions after an outstanding, undefeated season in the Ball Don’t Lie League. Their journey to the title was marked by hard work, determination, and a strong sense of teamwork that showed in every game they played.
The Topcats secured their place in the finals with an impressive semi-final performance against London Mambas Purple, finishing with a dominant 74–19 victory. The team came out focused and confident, executing their game plan to near perfection and setting the tone early on. Their defensive intensity and fast-paced offense proved too much for their opponents, highlighting just how much the squad has grown over the season.
Heading into the finals, the Topcats faced a much tougher challenge against Mambas White. The game was filled with energy from start to finish, with both teams competing at a high level. The Mambas applied relentless pressure throughout the entire match, pushing the Topcats to dig deep and stay composed under difficult moments.
Despite the intensity, the Topcats rose to the occasion and secured a 65–52 victory. It was a true team effort, with players stepping up when it mattered most. The Mambas deserve huge credit for their performance, making it a competitive and exciting final. It was an honour for the Topcats to face such a strong and determined team on such a big stage.
