Brixton Topcats Basketball Camp Returns This February

The Brixton Topcats Basketball Camp is back for February 2026, bringing a full week of hoops, hard work, and positive energy to the heart of Brixton. Designed for young players who want to improve their game and build confidence, this camp blends high-quality coaching with fun, competitive sessions on the court. It is the perfect environment for aspiring ballers ready to take the next step 💪💪

Dates: Monday 16th to Friday 20th February 2026

Times: 10am to 4pm

Ages: 11 to 16

Cost: £12 per day

What Players Will Learn

Throughout the week, participants will develop key basketball fundamentals while enjoying game-based learning and teamwork. Sessions will focus on:

  • Competitive games

Meet the Coaches

Camp sessions will be led by Ronnie Baker and Stedy Baker, two hugely respected figures in British basketball whose journey began right here in Brixton. These highly talented brothers have inspired generations of players to get involved in the sport, and their achievements at both club and international level are remarkable. Now, young players will have the chance to train directly with them.

Ronnie Baker remains England’s most capped player, with 156 international appearances. A legendary guard, he won a bronze medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games and earned numerous awards across British basketball. His club career included spells with Manchester Giants, London Leopards, and London Towers.

Stedroy Baker also enjoyed a long and successful career, playing in the British Basketball League for teams such as Birmingham Bullets, Sheffield Sharks, Leicester Riders, Thames Valley Tigers, as well as Derby in the NBL. He earned 14 international caps, making his debut for England against Denmark in 1991.

Registration and Payment

Spaces are limited and tend to fill up quickly, so early registration is recommended. Come train, compete, and have fun with the Topcats this February!
