Train with British Basketball Legends at Brixton This Easter Half-Term 🏀🔥

Ballers across London are invited to take part in an action-packed week of skill-building, competition and confidence-boosting fun on the court at Brixton Recreation Centre.

This is a rare opportunity to be coached by two of the most respected names in British basketball — the Baker brothers — who began their journey in Brixton and went on to achieve national and international success.

  • Dates: March 30 – April 3
  • Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm
  • Cost: ÂŁ12 per day
  • Ages: 5 – 18
  • Location: Brixton Recreation Centre – 127 Brixton Station Rd, London SW9 8QQ

Spots are limited, so early registration is recommended.

Meet the Coaches: The Baker Brothers


Ronnie Baker

Ronnie Baker remains England’s most capped player, with 156 international appearances. The legendary guard earned a bronze medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games and collected numerous awards and honours throughout his career.

He played for top British clubs including:

  • Manchester Giants
  • London Leopards
  • London Towers

His leadership and experience have inspired generations of players across the UK.

Stedroy Baker

Stedroy Baker also enjoyed a long and successful professional career. He competed in the British Basketball League and National Basketball League, representing teams such as:

  • Birmingham Bullets
  • Sheffield Sharks
  • Leicester Riders
  • Thames Valley Tigers
  • He earned 14 international caps for England, making his debut against Denmark in 1991.

From Brixton to the Big Stage

What makes this camp even more special is that the Baker brothers started their basketball journey right here in Brixton. Their achievements at club and international level are remarkable and now they’re returning to give back to the next generation.This is more than just a camp. It’s a chance to learn from coaches who have competed at the highest level of British basketball and understand what it takes to succeed.
