In late October, Hurricane Melissa swept across Jamaica and caused severe damage to homes, roads and essential services. Many communities in western and southern parishes were left without power, shelter or clean water. The storm resulted in significant loss of life and left thousands of families in urgent need of support. Recovery will take time, and immediate assistance is essential.
Brixton Topcats for Jamaica
This Sunday, November 16 at 12 PM, the Brixton Topcats invite players, parents and supporters to join us at the U18 Menβs home game against London Elite at the Brixton Recreation Centre. During the game, we will be collecting essential items for the Jamaica Hurricane Relief Drive.
If you cannot attend the game, you can still donate. Lambeth Assembly Hall will be open from 10 AM to 7 PM on Sunday for drop offs.
All collected items will be delivered through the Jamaica Homeless Charity Foundation, which is supporting the official Jamaica Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund.
